Cancellation Policy

Any agreed service / training will be confirmed with a 50% payment of the total quoted and accepted value of the contract / training cost as per communicated date; or in the case of individual entries, the full amount is payable on registration.

Cancellation:

  • 15 workdays prior to the course, 75% of the registration fee is refundable;
  • 14 to 10 workdays prior to the course, 50% is refundable;
  • No refunds for later cancellations;
  • NO REFUNDS FOR NO SHOWS OR NON-COMPLETION.

TRAINING WORKSHOP

It gives me great pleasure to announce 3-day training on the following 2 Unit Standards:

Apply Basic Business Ethics in a Work Environment (US 113924)
This 1-day session provides basic introduction to ethics in a business environment.

There are 4 Specific Outcomes for this Unit Standard:
1. Reflect on own values and belief systems and how they influence own behaviour.
2. Discuss how an individual`s ethics impact on the people around him/her.
3. Explain how an individual can behave ethically in a business environment.
4. Demonstrate techniques for dealing with situations where own ethics and values conflict with work.
Produce a business plan for a new venture (US119670)
There are 4 Specific Outcomes for this Unit Standard:
1. Identify and demonstrate understanding of the elements of a business plan.
2. Compile an organisation structure for one’s own business to determine how a business plan can best be integrated.
3. Identify resources and information required to complete own business plan.
4. Compile business plan.

ACCREDITED or NON-ACCREDITED
The training can be attended for accreditation- or non-accreditation purposes. Should you wish NOT to earn the credits, you will still receive a Learner workbook to complete activities during the training session with additional activities you could do on your own afterwards.

Should you wish to earn the credits, it implies the 3 days contact session training and approximately 60 hours completing the Learner Workbooks over a period of 4 – 6 weeks in any workplace setting. You will need to ask a workplace supervisor / mentor to sign off on a workplace logbook and activities done.

For US 113924:
Level 2, Credits 2 – therefore you should spend approximately 20 notional hours on this Unit, 40% of the time in instructional learning and 60% in a workplace.
For US119670:
Level 2, Credits Value – therefore you should spend approximately 80 notional hours on this Unit, 40% of the time in instructional learning and 60% in the workplace.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCREDITATION PURPOSES

All learners accessing this qualification must be in possession of a GETC or equivalent qualification. The learner must be competent in Mathematical Literacy and Communication at NQF level 1.
